I might have to move to Lagos — American rapper DDG hints amid LA wildfires

American rapper and YouTuber, Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., popularly known as DDG, has expressed uncertainty about continuing to live in the United States.

In a recent post on his verified X account, the rapper suggested he might consider relocating to Lagos or London.

He expressed his growing discontent with life in the United States, describing his home country as increasingly less appealing in the current climate.

He tweeted, “America lowkey not it no more ngl.. might have to move to London or Lagos.”

The remark comes as Los Angeles continues to grapple with wildfires that have caused widespread disruption.

While DDG did not explicitly link his comment to the wildfires, the timing of his statement has led to speculation that the natural disasters may be influencing his thoughts on relocating.

Tribune Online reports that at least 16 people have died as wildfires rage across Los Angeles, with officials warning that the death toll could rise further.
