Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has expressed his displeasure over being compared to fellow artiste Asake, particularly regarding their facial tattoos.
He firmly stated that he should not be compared to an “overrated artiste.”
Tribune Online reports that Asake recently showed off his new tattoos, including dollar signs and the word “Believe,” in an Instagram post, sparking reactions online.
Some fans compared his look to Portable’s because of their shared love for facial tattoos.

Portable via a video posted on his Instagram page rejected the comparison, saying his style is inspired by American rapper Lil Wayne, not Asake.
He said, “Don’t compare me to Asake. I don’t look like Asake. I look like Lil Wayne. Stop comparing me to an overrated artiste. I am spending Sony’s money not Empire’s money. I am an international artist…
“You call me an underrated artist, you underrate but see where I am and where you are.”
