Popular Nigerian music video director and cinematographer, TG Omori, has appealed to his fans and supporters to pray for him following a failed kidney transplant.
In an emotional post on X on Wednesday, the director revealed that his kidney transplant had failed, leaving him grappling with the uncertainty of his health.
According to him, the failed transplant occurred a year after his kidney initially failed.
TG Omori, who had earlier expressed deep gratitude to his brother for saving his life by donating one of his kidneys, asked his fans to pray for him, stating that he does not want to die.
He wrote, “One year after my kidney crashed I just had a failed transplant in Lagos. Pray for me.”
Captioning a picture of himself in the hospital in another post on Instagram, he wrote, “I don’t want to die.”
TG Omori, also known as Boy Director, is a prominent figure among Nigerian music fans. Since 2018, he has directed videos for a diverse lineup of artists, including Olamide, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Tekno, Kizz Daniel, Fireboy DML, Falz, Naira Marley, Asake, and many others.
