Actor, Adedimeji Lateef, has heaped praise on his wife, Adebimpe, for encouraging and pushing him to give his best when he broke his leg on the set of Jagun Jagun movie, produced by Femi Adebayo.

Lateef, who revealed that he would soon begin the shoot of his new movie, Lisabi, stated that he couldn’t have completed the work on Adebayo’s Jagun Jagun but for the love and support of his wife.

Lateef and his wife stole the show at the premiere of the movie as they stepped out in style, drawing attention due to their Egyptian-inspired clothing amid cheers from colleagues and fans.

Lateef, who played the lead role in the Netflix-sponsored project, rated the movie high, saying he has not done something as taxing as that in a while.

Speaking about his role, Lateef said he broke his leg during the shoot of the movie and he almost pulled out but Adebayo kept urging him to give his best and push on.

He recalled how his wife kept encouraging him to go on and give his best, saying she helped him to get better.

“I remember on the first day of the shoot, I broke my leg and it seemed as though I would not continue because the pain was unbearable but my wife was there to encourage me, just as the crew showed me immense love while the shoot lasted.

“My wife is my number one fan and critic. She pushes me really hard and encourages me to work hard. I think I owe a lot to her and I am grateful for her love and support,” he added.
