Since as you mentioned, eating vegetables and fruits helps you to go to toilet more frequently, you should try and eat these food items more regularly. It is equally important for you to drink more fluids and go for exercises more since the guts usually become sluggish as one ages. If, however, the situation does not improve after two weeks, you will need to see a doctor for more examination and investigations.
