Nigerian Afro-pop singer Humblesmith has announced the postponement of his much-anticipated Afrobongo Fellowship – Jos Edition following the passing of his mother.
The artist cited this heartbreaking loss, along with other personal reasons, as the motivation behind his decision to take time off for healing and recovery.
In a statement, Humblesmith expressed gratitude to his fans for their continued support and understanding during this difficult time.
“This is a very tough period for me, and I appreciate all the love and prayers. Losing my mother is a pain I cannot describe, but I know she would want me to stay strong. I need time to process this loss and come back even stronger for my fans.”
As a tribute to his late mother and a celebration of all mothers, Humblesmith announced that he will be hosting a special IG Live performance on 30th March.
The session will honour motherhood, love, and resilience—values that have played a significant role in his journey.
He reassured fans that new dates for the Afrobongo Fellowship – Jos Edition will be announced soon, promising an unforgettable experience upon his return.
