Gospel minister, John Kola-Idowu has revealed that his personal encounter with Jesus Christ in 1999 which lead to his salvation and was a game changer for his career.
“Although I was born into a Christian family, where Christianity is a way of life, I became born again in 1999 after a personal encounter with Jesus Christ (salvation). I have had so many spiritual encounters at different churches and at different times, but my encounter with Jesus in early 1999 was the turning point.
“I went to a barber’s shop at Bariga, Shomolu Local Government, and the barber invited me to TREM Church in Anthony Village, Maryland to join a Bible Believers class. Before then, I was going through some spiritual challenges, and during the Believers class, a lightflashed through my heart and radiated all over my body. Then, I heard a clear voice saying to me ‘I love you, you’re my son, come to me’, all power and authority belong to me.

“At that point, joy filled my heart. Peace that I could not explain came upon my soul and that was the day I surrendered my life to God and my life has not remained the same since then. It is good to follow God and abide in His will. I know this has also helped my career greatly” he stated.
He featured Mike Abdul in his new song entitled: Praise the Lord. The artiste noted that it was a positive vibe, just as he described the new work as a hope to the hopeless.
