How I overcame hardship and poor background to become successful — 360Kuts CEO, Jimmy Ofuoyan

Published by

Founder of 360Kuts, Jimmy Ofuoyan, has spoken of how he never allowed hardship and poor family background to distract him from striving hard to become a successful international hair stylist in Italy.

Jimmy Ofuoyan serves as a great inspiration to ambitious people who are currently locked in the battle of whether to hold on or just give. Born on August 15, 1998, into a large family of eight, the founder of 360Kuts was burdened with the responsibility of having to cater for himself early in life, as his parents could not afford beyond primary education and he had to absorb ideals of hardwork, focus and dedication, as seen in his older brother, under whom he acquired skills in braiding of women’s hair.

The Delta-born businessman of Itsekiri ethnic background who founded Italy-based 360Kuts, traveled to Europe through Libya, where he was adopted by human traffickers who kept him for one year and six months. He brazenly took it as part of his fair share of life’s struggles and challenges. Despite the hardship in prison, he never gave up and launched what has become an international haircut brand, barbing fellow prisoners and captors with more comb and blade.

Jimmy Ofuoyan lost his biological father recently, but not even the tragedy could deter him from inspiring others once again. In the midst of the grief, he gave free haircuts and shopping spree to strangers in the city centre in Italy.

“I grew up alongside my second older brother, who happens to be the hardworking CEO of GOD’S HAND BEAUTY SALOON. This incredible sibling played a beautiful role in teaching me how to style women’s hair. However, i discovered my true passion and decided to pursue it even further. With my brother’s grooming and support, Jimmy has embarked on a journey to follow his heart and chase his dreams,” he said while sharing his story.

“My second older brother’s hard work and patience have truly paid off. It’s amazing to hear that he has accomplished not only a successful transportation company but also a hair stylist school . He’s building an impressive empire with his diverse ventures. My brother’s determination and dedication are truly inspiring.

“My other siblings have chosen a low-key lifestyle and are successful business owners. It’s great to see everyone pursuing their own paths and finding happiness in their own unique ways. Each person has their own journey, and it’s wonderful that they’re embracing their passion and making their mark as well. I Pray they keep shining in their own way!”, added Jimmy Ofuoyan.
