Priscilla Ojo, daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo and now a first-time mum, has recounted her labour room experience.
Sharing on Snapchat on Monday, Priscilla said she was taken to the hospital at 3 a.m. when contractions started, admitting that the pain quickly overshadowed her intentions to “slay” and make content on the big day.
“We had to rush to the hospital at 3 a.m.! Contractions isn’t a joke. All plans to slay at the hospital and create content were cancelled,” she wrote.
She went on to reveal that her son, Rakeem, arrived earlier than anticipated, missing his father’s birthday, which had originally been his due date.

“Me: Rakeem, your due date is the same as Papa.
“Rakeem: Please, this woman, I want my day alone.
“#juma_jux sorry, my love, your son wants to shine alone,” Priscilla joked.
The couple had first shared the news of the pregnancy on July 24 through an Instagram post, later confirming at a gender reveal party in Tanzania that they were expecting a boy.
Ahead of the delivery, Priscilla was also honoured with a baby shower in Canada, attended by her mother, Iyabo Ojo, actress Lola Alao, and close friends.
Tribune Online reports that Priscilla and Juma exchanged vows in a grand six-part wedding celebration that stretched across Tanzania and Nigeria.
