How Bidemi Olaoba, Ebuka Songs, Adeyinka Alaseyori, others ignited praise altar at The Experience 19

Experience 19, a highly anticipated annual international gospel concert with the theme “Jesus Wins,” marked another unforgettable event this year. It was held from last Friday to the early morning of Saturday at the Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos.

Thousands of worshippers worldwide came together to create history with their collective celebration of faith. The concert served as a powerful occasion to lift a sacrifice of praise to the Almighty, with performances and worship led by some prominent gospel ministers, including Travis Greene, Chevelle Franklyn, Chee, Israel Houghton, Nathaniel Bassey, Dunsin Oyekan, Mercy Chinwo, Sinach, Frank Edwards, Prinx Emmanuel, Mr. M & Revelation, Moses Bliss, and Micah Stampley, among others.

The performances by first-timers Bidemi Olaoba and Ebuka Songs, along with the ministration of Adeyinka Alaseyori, transformed the TBS arena into a vibrant space of praise. The atmosphere was electric, filled with reverence and joy, as attendees experienced the transformative power of music and prayer.

Some of the dignitaries who attended the event included a representative of President Bola Tinubu, the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole; Nigerian businesswoman and philanthropist Chief Folorunso Alakija; actresses Joke Silva and Shaffy Bello; as well as renowned comedians AY, Akpororo, and Forever.

Pastor Paul Adefarasin, the convener, stated that the event showcased the unifying power of gospel music, bringing together individuals from diverse backgrounds to proclaim the greatness of Jesus and celebrate His victory.

Pastor Ifeanyi Adefarasin, the co-convener of The Experience, disclosed that this year’s event costs approximately eight times more to organise than in previous years. Nevertheless, despite the increased expenses, the dedication to fostering a better society and expressing gratitude to God for His goodness has sustained the project.

With its exceptional lineup, the Experience 19 further reinforced its status as a premier gospel concert, providing an opportunity for attendees to unite in praise, worship, and reflection.

As worshippers raised their voices and hearts in unison, the event highlighted how Jesus triumphs in the lives of believers, bringing hope, healing, and strength to all in attendance.
