Holy Trinity Grammar School Alumni to Host Inaugural AGM, Honouring Legacy and Shaping Future

The Holy Trinity Grammar School National Old Students Association is thrilled to announce its first-ever Annual General Meeting (AGM), taking place on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 10 AM. This milestone event will be held at the school’s premises, marking a significant occasion for alumni to reconnect and contribute to the school’s future.

Themed “Honouring the Past, Building the Future of Our School: The Collective Responsibility of All Old Students,” the AGM is designed to bring together former students who share a deep commitment to the growth and sustainability of their alma mater. The keynote speaker for the event is Professor Akeem Adekunle Amodu, the esteemed Head of the Department of Politics and International Relations at Lead City University, Ibadan. His address will emphasize the importance of collective action in shaping the school’s future.

The Vice President (2) of the association, Hon. Kazeem Alimi, has expressed his excitement for the event, emphasizing the opportunity it presents to acknowledge outstanding alumni who have made noteworthy contributions to both the school and broader society. As part of the agenda, an Award of Recognition and Appreciation will be presented to these distinguished individuals.

The AGM will be hosted by Mrs. Feyisetan Olanike Makinde, the Principal of Holy Trinity Grammar School, who has been instrumental in fostering a strong relationship between the school and its alumni. Reverend Olujide Adeaga, the National Secretary, will assist in leading the event’s proceedings, with Aare Adesina Idowu Adegoke, National President of the Association, serving as the Chief Host.

All former students are encouraged to attend, as the event promises to be a pivotal moment in strengthening the alumni network and fostering a spirit of unity and collaboration. The meeting aims to not only celebrate the rich history of Holy Trinity Grammar School but also to ensure that future generations benefit from the efforts and contributions of its proud alumni.
