Queen of the Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi, Her Majesty Firdaus Akanbi opened up on her experience and the happiness she had known as she celebrated her second wedding anniversary as a Queen in the Iwo palace some days ago.
The Queen, who is from a royal family in Kano State described her two years at the Iwo palace as an endless adventure of love and laughter, while affirming that her husband, the Oluwo is everything she wished for in a man.
The Oluwo, Oba Abdulrashed Akanbi married Queen Firdaus Abdulahi at a colourful ceremony in Kano in 2022. The queen is the daughter of the late Madakin Kano, Alhaji Abdulahi Yola, and the granddaughter of the late Emir Ado Bayero.
Oba Akanbi, who was once married to a Jamaican, Chanel Chin described Queen Firdaus as an epitome of beauty, well-born, loyal and respectful.
