IN an effort to prevents Herdsmen /Framers crises, the Jigawa state police command in collaboration with eight local government areas of the Jigawa north east senatorial district organized an interactive meeting between the Fulani and Famers of the district aim is to come up with an agreed condition for the permanent peace between the two communities.
This was contained in a press ‎statement issued, signed and made available to newsmen in Dutse the state capital by the Police Command Public Relations Officer, SP Abdu Jinjiri, said “the meeting is aimed at bringing the two communities together and agreed on the condition that will bring a permanent peace by all year round”.
According to the statement “the meeting is Tobe presided by the state commissioner of police, Mr BalaZama Senchi at Kirikasamma town the headquarter of the Kirikasamma local government area tomorrow(Wednesday) were all stakeholders ‎from the security, Farmers, Fulanis, traditional and religious leaders and local government council’s executive were to be present”.

The statement further stated that “the meeting would opportune the all the stakeholders to deliberate extensively on the remote courses and lasting solutions to the Herdsmen and Famers crises”.
SP Jinjiri maintained that the participant’s local government areas in the meeting are Auyo, Birniwa, Guri, Hadejia and Kafinhausa. Others are Kaugama, Kirikasamma and Malammadri local government areas.
