Herdsmen attack BisRod’s wood plantation, company begs police for security

The management of BisRod Furniture has raised the alarm over herdsmen attack on its plantation and workforce with machetes and guns.

A letter signed by the management of the company revealed that the tree planting plantation of over 200,000 hard wood tree species at Ijebu Ode was seriously vandalised.

The letter also stated that in the thick of the fracas, staff of the wood making company were able to apprehend a small cow as exhibit to support “the report of the incident to the Police Area Commander, Ijebu Ode.

“We are calling on the Ogun State government to extend the ongoing security of Ogun State from the Fulani herdsmen attack on the rural farmers to Oke-eri village, for the safety of our family and properties.”
