Nigeria’s Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Dr. Muhammad Ali Pate, has commended the state-of-the-art medical infrastructure at Baze University Hospital during an official visit to the institution.
Dr. Pate, who was received by the Chancellor of Baze University, Sen. Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, PhD, FSAN, toured the university’s healthcare and medical teaching facilities alongside other senior university officials.

Key areas visited included the advanced diagnostic and imaging center, equipped with the latest radiology technologies; the modern surgical suites, designed to support a wide range of procedures; and the rehabilitation and physiotherapy unit, which provides comprehensive recovery programs for patients.
The Minister also praised the hospital’s strong alignment of practical training with academic instruction an approach that bridges the gap between theory and real-world medical practice for students. He noted the value of hands-on experience in equipping the next generation of healthcare professionals.
