THE Executive Director, Housing Development Advocacy Network (HDAN), Festus Adebayo, has emphasised the importance of professionalism, credibility, and discipline within the Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN).
Giving this advice, urged the new executives of REDAN, headed by Akintoye Adeoye, to prioritise these qualities in moving the association forward.
Assuring the association of the support of his organisation, Adebayo urged the leadership of REDAN to elevate the standards of the real estate sector in Nigeria.
He called on all housing stakeholders in the country to unite and support the new REDAN’s leadership.
“The objective is to propel the association to a higher level where it garners international recognition and attracts foreign investments into the Nigerian housing sector,” he said
Adebayo affirmed HDAN’s commitment to supporting professional bodies and promoting the activities of all housing and construction sector professionals.
He said that HDAN, a pioneering non-governmental organisation consist of professionals from various disciplines, remained steadfast in its dedication to enhancing the housing industry’s standards.
As the real estate landscape in Nigeria evolves, HDAN urged REDAN’s new leadership to work toward a promising future characterized by professionalism, transparency, and sustainable growth in the housing sector.
He also commended the leadership of the Minister of Housing, Ahmed Dangiwa, noting that the minister has taken significant steps towards enhancing professionalism within the sector.
Adebayo said that this marks the first time the housing sector will be led by a professional who comprehensively understands its intricacies, a development that HDAN finds commendable.
HDAN also lauded the commitment of minister to enforcing regulations and promoting integrity and transparency in the real estate business. Adebayo reiterated that advocating such principles has been at the core of HDAN’s mission for many years.
