Hajj Ibadat fixed, cannot be postponed — Kano pilgrims board

The Director General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board (KSPWB), Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, has said that the annual Hajj pilgrimage (Hajj Ibadat) is a fixed religious obligation that cannot be postponed under any circumstances.

“The Hajj is a divinely ordained obligation for every capable Muslim, and its schedule is immovable. We call on all intending pilgrims to comply by making their deposits promptly,” he stated.

Alhaji Danbappa made this known and emphasised the importance of adhering to the prescribed timeline for the sacred pilgrimage.

He therefore urged all intending pilgrims to ensure they complete the payment of their Hajj seat deposit before the deadline to secure their slots for this year’s pilgrimage.

However, this was contained in a statement signed by the board’s Public Relations Officer (PRO) Alhaji Sulaiman Dederi, a copy made available on Monday to press in Kano.

Danbappa, however, highlighted that timely payment is essential for effective planning and preparation, ensuring a smooth and successful Hajj operation.

Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board remains committed to providing excellent services to pilgrims and ensuring they fulfill their religious duties without unnecessary complications.
