The pioneer students of Holy Apostolic High School, Ikole-Ekiti, Ekiti State, have constituted a new interim executive to direct the committee’s affairs.
The meeting, which was presided over by Mr Tope Ale, was geared towards providing the old students’ initiative in contributing positively to the development of their alma mater.
At the meeting, Mr Ale was selected as the president, while Bayo Oloniluyi was made the vice president.
The other members of the committee are Peter Ade Morakinyo (secretary), Mrs Tope Oniyelu-Adewumi (financial director); Chief Gbenga Olumide (Public Relations Officer), while the position of social director is pending.
The five-man man-committee for the 40th/44th anniversary of the school was also inaugurated with Bayo Ajibade, Reverend (Mrs) Grace Adetiba, Mrs Tayo Adeniyi-Rufai, Abayomi Dele Memudu and Dare Abe as members.
Also, suggestion was made as to the need to elect new executive members when members meet physically, but for the exigency of time, the meeting allowed the selected officers to remain.
It will be recalled that the school was established in September 1980 with 206 students as pioneers.
