A group under the auspices of Tinubu Support Organization (TSO), has called on the organisers of the Thursday nationwide protest to embrace dialogue in resolving issues of their demands rather than throwing the country into anarchy.
National Coordinator of the group, Aminu Suleman, made the call on Wednesday in Abuja at a news conference, where he appealed to all those behind the proposed protest to suspend the action.
Suleman who is the Chairman Governing Council of Federal College of Education, Keana, Nasarawa State, said the planned protest was unnecessary as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has taken bold steps to address some of the issues being canvassed by planning the protest.
He said: “We the members of Tinubu Support Organisation have watched some section of the country proposing to embark on a nationwide protest against bad governance.

“This is not necessary as the government is doing a lot to improve the living condition of Nigerians through various intervention programmes and palliatives and also making effort to address the issues around nation’s economy.
“These issues on demand can be resolved through dialogue. Therefore, we, the Tinubu Support organisation call on all Nigerians across the 774 Local Government Areas of the country to suspend all forms of protest and embrace dialogue for peaceful resolution.
“It is important to ensure that there is peace and security. Therefore, we are appealing to all Nigerians to support our President, His excellence Bola Ahmed Tinubu to enable him succeed because he means well for Nigeria,” Suleman stated.
