Group names seven ministers making Nigerians proud on global stage

The Diaspora Coalition for Good Governance (DCGG) has identified seven outstanding ministers under President Bola Tinubu’s administration for their performances in office so far, saying they are so dear to their hearts for exceptional leadership.

These ministers, according to the group, have demonstrated unwavering dedication, expertise, and passion for their respective portfolios, making Nigerians proud on the global stage.

President of the Diaspora, Tochukwu Onah in a statement said the nomination process was conducted via the group’s email which he said, was open to all Nigerians in the diaspora to have arrived at the final list of the seven ministers.

According to the statement, “The minister of FCT, Nyesom Wike’s transformative vision for the Federal Capital Territory has been nothing short of remarkable. His innovative approaches to urban development and infrastructure have set a new standard for capital city management.

“The minister of Women’s Affairs, Uju Kennedy Ohanenye’s tireless advocacy for gender equality and women’s empowerment has resonated across the nation. Her initiatives have improved the lives of countless women and girls, inspiring a new generation of leaders.

“The minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon. Yusuf Tugar’s diplomatic prowess has strengthened Nigeria’s global relationships, fostering strategic partnerships and enhancing the country’s international reputation.

“The minister of Works, Hon. Dave Umahi’s infrastructure development projects have revolutionized Nigeria’s transportation networks, facilitating economic growth and improving the lives of citizens.

“The minister of State for Petroleum, Hon. Heineken Lokpobiri’s expertise in the petroleum sector has optimized Nigeria’s energy resources, driving economic progress and reducing dependence on foreign oil.

“The minister of Interior Hon. Olubumi Tunji’s leadership in the interior ministry has enhanced national security, reformed immigration policies, and promoted citizen engagement.

“The last, but not the least on our list, the minister of information and national orientation, Hon. Mohammed Idris’s effective communication strategies have promoted transparency, countered misinformation, and showcased Nigeria’s achievements to the world.

“As a group, we are praising these exceptional ministers for their selfless service and commitment to excellence. We urged other ministers to emulate their examples, striving for similar impact and dedication.

“We are also commending President Tinubu for selecting a talented team, demonstrating his administration’s dedication to good governance.

“A special ceremony will be held to honor these ministers, recognizing their contributions to Nigeria’s progress. The Diaspora Coalition for Good Governance looks forward to celebrating their achievements and inspiring a new wave of leaders to follow in their footsteps.
