A youth group, the Southern Taraba Youth Vanguard (STYV), has commended President Bola Tinubu for appointing Professor Ayuba Madachi Dauda as the Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the Federal University Teaching Hospital, Wukari.
In a statement, Mr. Umaru Emmanuel, the group’s spokesperson, described the appointment as a testament to the federal government’s commitment to meritocracy in healthcare services.
The group expressed that the appointment of Professor Ayuba was timely, given his distinguished background in medical and teaching practices.

“Professor Ayuba is an experienced academic, medical consultant, and practitioner who is well-equipped to advance the mission of FUW Teaching Hospital by providing high-quality healthcare and medical education.

“It is our hope that the newly appointed CMD will use his extensive experience to attract new medical expertise, research initiatives, and federal investments, which will greatly benefit Taraba and Nigeria as a whole,” the group stated.
