Group drums support for Gov Diri’s second term bid in Bayelsa

A socio-political group known as kemese Political Front has galvanized support for the second term bid of Senator Douye Diri as governor of Bayelsa state.

While announcing their endorsements on behalf of members of their groups and supporters, the Director General of Kemese Political Front, who is also the Technical Advisor on Economic Development & Liaison to the Governor, Dr. Ebiekure Jasper Eradiri, and the Director General of Diri/Lawrence Frontiers For Second Tenure, Hon. Ogiriki Dennis Eradiri, noted that the Governor’s tremendous efforts in building roads, bridges, infrastructures, vocational centres and consistent release of funds in support of Small and Medium Enterprises in the State, deserves commendation and all necessary supports.

In their different remarks, Director Generals of the two political groups stressed that Diri is a man of peace, a builder that holds hands with everybody with a smile, and most importantly, for the state to progress, there must be peace and that is why the groups are gathered to support, endorse and promote the ideals of His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri.

They further noted that their support and endorsement for the second tenure bid of Governor Diri is based on the governor’s tremendous achievements and strides which are geared towards the development and Prosperity of Bayelsa State.

Commending the big ticket three senatorial projects embarked upon by the prosperity administration, they noted that Governor Diri is a true leader because he’s listening and accommodating the governor who cares for all without political divide. As a governor that has been preaching peace since the inception of his Administration, Governor Diri has always advised Bayelsans that politics with bitterness will not move the State forward.

Noting that politics is local, the Director Generals urged their supporters to come out in their numbers, go to the Villages, Communities, Wards, and Houses, mobilize support, and sensitize the people on the need to reelect Governor Diri for the Prosperity of all Bayelsans.

In their goodwill messages, Pastor Pemaro Elabha, Engr. Robert Efebor, Chief Dumeze Blankson, Engr. Erepamo Eradiri, Mr. Okorafor Emeka (Non-Indigene Rep.), and Mrs. Trisha Obiyai (Women Rep.) commended Diri for his laudable achievements in infrastructure, education, security, skills acquisition, and empowerment of small & medium enterprises in the state.

Highlights of the event were the unveiling of a T-shirt/NGO by Barr. Doutimiye Bale and jubilation dance in celebration of the prosperity of government.
