GOVERNOR Abdulahi Sule of Nasarawa state has reiterated his administration commitment to deliver good governance through innovative programs that have direct bearing to the life of people in the state.

This was contained in a statement issued by Yakubu Lamai, Director General, Communication and Press Affairs to the Governor, and made available to pressmen on Friday, saying the Governor reaffirmed his commitment when he received the prestigious award of Most Promising Governor in Nigeria during the 7TH edition of Democracy Heroes Award, 2019 held on Wednesday.

According to the statement, ” the Governor declared that he will live up to and exceed the expectations of Nigerians as he fulfils the hopes and dreams of the people of the State to surpasses the benchmark of FDN Nigeria who conferred on him a Democracy Hero Award at the Transcorp Hilton in Abuja.

” He vowed not to rest now that he has been honoured, but continue working even harder to bring to bear governance that is accountable, inclusive, innovative and futuristic to better the lives of the people of Nasarawa State.”

The statement further added that Governor Sule since assumed office on May 2019, has made a lot of unexpected visits to Ministries, Government Agencies and Hospitals in Nasarawa State, where he discovered that “Nigerian workers don’t like their Governors to suddenly show up without warning, because most times the reality on how workers themselves in government agencies leaves much to be desired.

” The Governor noted that after barely four months in office, the fact that FDN Nigeria has noticed his hands-on approach to governance and strives to promote investment and buoy the economy in Nasarawa State has further encouraged him not to rest on his oars.”
