‘Gov Ododo’s transformative governance, result of positive thinking’

The Chairman of the Governing Council of Federal University of Health Sciences, Benue, Nigeria , and the leader of Ododo Mandate Steering Committee, Engr. Ohieku Muhammad Abdulsalam has commended Governor Alhaji Ahmed Ododo for the approval of the GOBO initiative.

The Media aide to the Chairman, Comrade Ishaq Jama’a Akuvada in a press statement issued on Thursday said Ohieku praised Governor Ododo’s visionary leadership, highlighting the significant impact of his administration on Kogi State’s citizens since taking office in January 2024.

He emphasized that Governor Ododo’s commitment to transforming Kogi State is as a result of his power of positive thinking, strategic planning and prompt decision taking, cited the reason for his humane value, skills and strong leadership qualities.

He reiterated that the governor’s transformative policies have been evident in various strategic projects and initiatives, including the ongoing road projects across the State, which showcasing his dedication to enhancing infrastructure and promoting economic growth.

He said the strengthening law enforcement agencies with federal security agencies, and deploying technological advancements to ensure public safety is equally worthy of note and highly commendable. Ohieku asserted that the unprecedented and pleasing development in the workers’ welfare is not an exception to this drive.

Ohieku has also expressed gratitude and reacted on the recent approval of the GOBO’s initiative, aims to improve citizens’ well-being and empower women entrepreneurs, particularly the vulnerable minor market women across the State.

He said this initiative positively aligns with Governor Ododo’s focus on economic growth, job creation, and poverty eradication. Ohieku urged stakeholders to ensure the initiative’s success by aligning with the governor’s direction and benefiting the intended citizens.

Ohieku emphasized the need for collective effort to achieve the state’s growth and progress, calling on political appointees to be accessible, responsive, and collaborative in their duties as he wished Governor Ododo success in his administration’s positive direction.
