Delta Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has expressed deep sorrow over the sudden passing of his Special Adviser on Trade and Export, Chief Shimite Love.
In a statement, Oborevwori described Love as an accomplished, intelligent, and charismatic political figure who served the state with distinction.
The Governor praised Love’s commitment and excellence in her public roles, lamenting that her demise came at a time when her expertise was most needed.
Oborevwori extended his heartfelt condolences to the people of Oshimili North Local Government Area, particularly the Ebu community, and prayed for the peaceful repose of Love’s soul.
Oborevwori also urged God to comfort Love’s family during this difficult time.
The Governor acknowledged Love’s diligent leadership of the state’s export initiatives and noted that her absence would be deeply felt by the government and people of Delta State.
