The Director General of the National Productivity Centre, Dr. Baffa Danagundi, has praised the efforts of Jigawa State Governor Mallam Umar Namadi in providing free education to the people of the state.
He commended the governor for his recent sponsorship of hundrends of students from the state to study medical and related courses abroad, all aimed at boosting productivity in Jigawa State.
In a statement he personally signed and made available to the press in Kano, Dr. Danagundi described Governor Namadi as the best governor in terms of productivity.
He noted the governor’s significant investments in the education and agricultural sectors, which have contributed to enhancing the productivity of the state’s citizens.

“His policies are testimonial in boosting productivity among the citizens of Jigawa State.
While on agriculture, he highlighted the state’s significant investments in agriculture aimed at ensuring food security, fostering economic growth, and driving rural development.
He added that governor Namadi revitalized agriculture in Jigawa State and Nigeria at large, which resulted in increased access to inputs, thus provided farmers with 240,000 bags (12,000 metric tons) of fertilizer at a 40 per cent subsidy, that made critical inputs more affordable.
This is not only commendable but worthy of emulation for other governors in the country,” he said.
