Gov Bago gets rousing welcome after annual leave

Niger Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago has received a warmth welcome back to Minna, the State Capital led by his Deputy, Comrade Yakubu Garba.

The Governor was welcomed by his Deputy supported by key government officials and hundreds of residents at Chanchaga, the entry point to Minna from Minna- Suleja- Abuja road late in the evening on Thursday, amidst cheers and shouts/ chants of “sai Bago” by his numerous admirers, mostly Youths and Women groups as well as his friends and political associates.

More residents later thronged on the major roads from the old City Gate to Minna metropolitan roads leading to the Government House Minna to welcome the Governor.

The Elated  State Governor waved to the crowd in return in appreciation of their kind gesture.

Governor Umaru Bago embarked on annual leave last month after getting approval from the State House of Assembly, Minna.
