Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago congratulates the Emir of Zazzau Suleja, Malam Muhammadu Awwal Ibrahim, on his 84th birthday, on the 8th of September 2025.
The governor, through his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, extolled the virtues of the Emir.
He describes him as a selfless and passionate leader who has spent most of his life serving humanity.
The governor recounts how the celebrant committedly served the state as a public servant and a traditional ruler.
He says, Alhaji Awwal Ibrahim laid a solid foundation as the first elected governor of the state (1979–1983), which successive administrations have continued to build upon.

The governor applauds the invaluable contributions of the Emir to the growth and development of the Suleja Emirate, the state, and Nigeria.
He also commended him for upholding the sanctity of the throne of his forefathers and the cultural heritage of the people of the Suleja Emirate, maintaining that posterity will continue to be kind to him.
The governor appreciates Allah for His mercy, blessings, and protection on the life of the Emir.
He prays that Allah will continue to guide and grant him more wisdom as well as make his reign peaceful and successful while assuring him of his continued support.
