Gov Adeleke appoints Oni as OSEMA boss

Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has approved the appointment of Mr Oni Samuel Abiola as the new General Manager for the Osun State Emergency Management Agency (OSEMA).

Oni who replaced Mr. Jide Falade following the latter’s retirement from the service, is a seasoned administrator with over two decades in the service.

The new OSEMA boss who hails from Ijebu-Jesa in the Oriade Local Government area of the state, had held various positions in the ministries of Environment and Agriculture where he equally served as Director at different times.

Oni played a pivotal role as the Environmental Team Lead during the state’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic where he showcased his ability in managing critical situations.

The new OSEMA helmsman who has since assumed office, promised to put in his best to turn around the fortunes of the agency.
