The Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, has authorised the 2023 and 2024 promotion exercises for 26,764 qualified civil and public servants in the state.
The announcement, made on Friday by the Head of Service, Kehinde Onasanya, revealed that the approved promotions, including upgrades and transfers, will affect civil and public servants in various sectors, such as the core civil service, government secondary school staff (both teaching and non-teaching), primary school teachers, and personnel of state-owned boards, corporations, and parastatals, including the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital (OOUTH).

Furthermore, Governor Abiodun has approved the December 2024 Combined Confirmation/Promotion Tests and the mandatory Public Service Examinations for eligible officers, reinforcing his commitment to the professional development of the state’s workforce.
