Gospel sensation, Enny Okosun, often referred to as gospirational artiste is in joyous mood right now having won the “Artiste with Potential” Award category at the Top Naija Awards.
The award, which was held at the Oriental Hotels in Lagos attracted dignitaries from different walks of life.
Known for great songs like, Wave Your Flag, Mama mi and Shout Hallellujah, Okosun in the last two years has churned out inspirational hitsongs that have impacted not a few.
The singer, who combines music with his education in Dubai said, “I thank Almighty God for the opportunity and grace. The journey has not been easy as I combine Civil Engineering with music and while working in Dubai. I appreciate the organisers of the TopNaija Music Award who have recognised this potential in me and awarded me this gracious gift of life.
“This, of course, will go a long way in my career. Thanks to my reverred kinsman, late Sunny Okosun, who inspired so many generation of singers.” Enny Okosun plans to release an album later this year.
