Gombe State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Muhammad Bello Muazu, has tasked the 302 newly promoted Command officers to display a high level of professionalism while carrying out their lawful duties.
Muazu gave the charge while decorating the newly promoted officers at the Banquet Hall of Gombe International Hotel, Gombe.
He congratulated the promoted officers for the elevation to their new ranks and advised them to rededicate themselves to duty, respect humans, and adhere to the rule of law.
Also speaking in a vote of thanks on behalf of the newly promoted officers, DCC Mohammed Murtala thanked the Commandant General, Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, for their elevation and promised their commitment and total loyalty to the system.
The event was graced by the State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, who was represented by his Deputy, Dr. Manasseh Daniel Jatau, Assistant Commandant General Zone C, Bauchi, ACG Umar Musa Bala, the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, the State Head of Service, Alhaji Ahmed Kasim, Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Lt. Col. Abdullahi Bello (Rtd).
Others in attendance were Commissioner of Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Adamu Inuwa Pantami, all the Security Service commanders, the Vice Chancellor of Pen Resource University Gombe, Prof. Yusuf Yahaya, top civil servants, captains of industries, friends, relations, and well-wishers of the decorated officers, as contained in a statement by SC Buhari Saad.
