However, it was the news of Paul Odili’s quiet yet extraordinary philanthropic efforts that truly captured Sowunmi’s heart. Inspired by Odili’s selfless deeds, Sowunmi felt compelled to create a special collection of poems and paintings in his honor. As Sowunmi aptly puts it, “Most times, genuine lifters in society – silent cry wipers and financial apostles like Odili – are not celebrated. Yet, those who are sold out to their communities through their actions are indeed worthy of celebration.”
Through his work, Sowunmi shines a light on the unsung heroes who make a difference in the world, ensuring their stories are told and their legacies are honored.
