The Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District of Plateau, Senator Simon Bako Lalong, has tasked the security agencies to go after those behind the attack on some villages in Doemak District of Quaan’Pan local Government Area of the state, which led to loss of lives, destruction of properties, and displacement of people.
Senator Lalong, in a statement signed by his Media Adviser, Dr. Makut Simon Macham, strongly condemned the attack, calling the invasion of 11 villages in the council area an unfortunate and premeditated attempt to disrupt the peace of the area.
According to him, the security agencies must investigate the cause of the attacks and ensure that those responsible are brought to justice.

The Senator, while commiserating with the victims, the Doemak traditional council and entire Quaan-Pan Local Government Area over the unfortunate incident, said the Traditional Institution, faith organisations, community development associations, and all stakeholders must work together to ensure that such attacks are not witnessed again.

He promised to continue to work with all key stakeholders within the state and at the national level towards the maintenance of peace, law, and order within his Senatorial District and the state at large.
