Give priority to security in Nigeria

Published by

President Muhammadu Buhari should give priority to security in the country.  It is true that before former president Goodluck Jonathan handed over to President Buhari, kidnappings, Boko Haram and a host of other perilous social vices were in place and President Buhari gave a promise that he would eradicate them.

Makinde appoints Tribune Politics Editor, Taiwo Adisa, as CPS

He can be said to have done his best, yet the crimes increase daily. The main cause of this is mass unemployment. The presidency and state governments should provide jobs to our young school leavers because an idle hand is the devil’s workshop.

Also, stiff penalties should be given to perpetrators of these shameless acts to correct and deter others and correct the impression that Nigeria is one of the perilous countries in the world.

This case of insecurity has sent away external investors. Make hay now while the sun shines.
