Osibanjo, whose wife clocked 50 years old on Saturday, in his usual way of celebrating her, hailed her for standing firm with him even as he described her as his support system over the years.
The Acting President took to his twitter account early Saturday morning to shower encomiums on his wife, whom she described as her treasure that has been watching over him.
The short message generated massive comments from friends and well-meaning Nigerians.
Osinbajo had twitted: “My gift from God, watching over me, my support, at my side, my wings and my wife.”
In a related development, the governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, felicitated with Mrs Osinbajo, on Saturday.
In a congratulatory letter, he personally signed, Amosun said: “On behalf of my family, the government and good people of Ogun State, I write to felicitate with Your Excellency, as you gracefully attain the milestone age of 50 years, on Saturday, 15 July, 2017. Congratulations!
“Your lifestyle of humility, coupled with the numerous achievements you have recorded in the area of community service remain a reference point.
“I note that your accomplishments over the last 50 years, especially through your pet project, “Step-Up,” which is aimed at empowering women and youth in the society, are exemplary.
“As you celebrate your golden anniversary, we celebrate with you and your family, and we also join you in giving gratitude to the Almighty God for His mercy, grace and faithfulness on your life. It is my prayer that the Almighty God will grant you many more years, in prosperity, fulfillment and good health, so that you can continue to render selfless service to our dear nation”, the governor added.
