The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Femi Gbajabiamila, has congratulated the Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Babatunde Osuolale Aremu Akiolu on his 78th birthday.
Hon Gbajabiamila said Oba Rilwan has been a great inspiration to leaders across the country, noting that his leadership qualities are unique.
The Speaker said at 78, Oba Rilwan Akiolu has demonstrated uncommon commitment and dedication to the growth and development of his people and Nigerians as a whole.
He said he was personally proud of the Oba of Lagos, whom he described as a pillar of hope and unity.
Speaker Gbajabiamila noted with delight the selfless service of the Oba of Lagos since his ascension to the throne in 2003, saying Oba Rilwan Akiolu has been a father to all.
Hon Gbajabiamila prayed for more fruitful years in good health and increased wisdom for the Oba of Lagos.
