This year, Nigeria’s music industry takes centre stage, boasting an impressive array of nominations that highlight the nation’s rich musical talent.

Here are the Nigerian artistes to watch out for at the 2025 Grammy Awards:

Burna Boy

Nominated for Best African Music Performance with his track “Higher.”

Davido

Known for his infectious hits and energetic performances, Davido is nominated for Best African Music Performance with “Sensational,” a collaboration with Chris Brown and Lojay.

Rema

The young and talented Rema is making waves with his nomination for Best Global Music Album for his hit album “HEIS.”

Tems

With her soulful voice and captivating music, Tems emerges as a leading figure among Nigerian nominees, securing three nods. She has been nominated for Best R&B Song with “Burning,” Best Global Music Album for “Born in the Wild,” and Best African Music Performance for “Love Me Jeje.”

Yemi Alade

A force to be reckoned with, Yemi Alade is nominated for Best African Music Performance for her song “Tomorrow.”

Asake

Ololade mi Asake has earned a nomination for Best African Music Performance with his hit “MMS,” a collaboration with Wizkid.

Wizkid

The starboy himself, Wizkid, is also nominated for Best African Music Performance for “MMS,” alongside Asake.

Lojay

With his nomination for Best African Music Performance for “Sensational,” a collaboration with Chris Brown and Davido, Lojay is quickly making a name for himself in the music industry.
