President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved an 80% subsidy on kidney dialysis, reducing the cost from N50,000 to N12,000 per session across ten federal medical institutions.
Following this development, Tribune Online reports that under the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda, the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital (ATBUTH), Bauchi, has subsidised its kidney dialysis cost from N40,000 to N12,000, offering relief to patients with related conditions.
