There is current social-economy confusion in Anambra State as petrol now sold for ₦600 per litre.
The situation started this afternoon as fuel stations in Awka, Onitsha and Nnewi reviewed their pump price following the news of an upward review of petrol price to N617 per litre by the NNPC on Tuesday morning, 18th July 2023.
Our Correspondent who visited some petrol stations in the state to confirm the situation, found out that no filing station shut down operation but adjust their pump prices to ₦600 as soon as they got information on the price change.
This new development has led to confusion among residents in the state.
Some customers that spoke with our reporter says that the decision by the federal government to increase the price of the commodity would not make them to run away from their country.
