The Fountain of Praise & Power Baptist Church in Ogbomoso is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a weeklong series of activities, culminating in a grand thanksgiving service and dedication of its new church auditorium. Reverend Dr. Deji Adisa, the founding pastor and visionary behind the church, has approved the celebration, which kicked off on Sunday, September 30, 2024.
According to a press release by Mr. Sunday Olaosebikan of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, the high point of the celebrations will be a thanksgiving ceremony and the official consecration of the church auditorium on Saturday, October 5, 2024. The President of the Nigerian Baptist Convention, Reverend Dr. Israel Adelani Akanji, will officiate the service. He will be joined by other notable leaders and officers from the Baptist denomination.
The celebration includes various activities aimed at recognizing God’s faithfulness to the church and its members over the past decade. Located off Orita-Naira Junction on Ikuye Road, Ogbomoso, the church has been a significant spiritual hub in the community, and the anniversary marks a momentous milestone for its congregation.
