The Federal Government, through the Ministry of Finance Incorporated (MOFI), is set to partner with financial giant Bloomberg in a two-year initiative aimed at showcasing Nigeria’s economic potential and attracting foreign investment.

At a meeting held in his office in Abuja, the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun, welcomed Bloomberg’s Global Director, Nicole Keefe, who emphasized the company’s commitment to reshaping Nigeria’s narrative and highlighting its economic potential to a global audience.

In a statement, Mohammed Manga, Director of Information and Public Relations in the Federal Ministry of Finance, noted that Bloomberg plans to leverage its vast media network to highlight Nigeria’s achievements and opportunities, addressing investor hesitations tied to outdated or negative perceptions.

Dr. Armstrong Takang, CEO of MOFI, stated that the partnership would spotlight key government projects such as the Real Estate Investment Fund and gas pipeline initiatives, further promoting Nigeria’s progress in critical sectors.

Edun acknowledged the need for strategic communication to effectively showcase the government’s economic achievements and foster a positive investment climate.

Through this partnership, Nigeria is poised to redefine its global narrative, unlock new investment opportunities, and solidify its position as a key player in the global economy.
