A female suicide bomber has visited damnation at a check point in Konduga after Maiduguri where she detonated improvised explosive devices IED strapped to her body killing herself and two soldiers in the process.
The incident which happened Wednesday evening in Mashimari ward of Konduga, has put all the soldiers at alert since two soldiers who were said to have been badly injured according to sources later lost their lives due to excessive bleeding.
The incident happened behind a camp of internally displaced persons IDP’S in Konduga about thirty seven kilometres from maiduguri.
The outgoing theatre commander of operation lafia dole Major General Lucky Irabor yesterday warned that the boko haram insurgents have infiltrated idp camps all over Borno state adding that everybody must be at alert to stop them from further havoc on the returnees and their IDPS.
