It was another educating and empowerment period for women in business and career recently as they gathered a free empowerment event designed to equip participants with the mindset and tools to rise above challenges and thrive in the field of endeavours.
The women converged at the HSProjects in Ibadan for a free empowerment workshop that turned fear into fuel. Describing their experience, they highlighted their experience from inspiring life stories to AI skills, leadership strategies, and problem-solving tools.
The training tagged Fear to Freedom, equipped participants to rise from setbacks to remarkable comebacks through mediums that explored inspiration, transformation and practical learning as women in business and career with a clear vision of the future they want.
The empowerment event was specifically designed to equip participants with the mindset and tools to rise above challenges and thrive and it attracted women eager to gain insights, skills, and confidence to push past limitations.
The Co-founder of HSProject Technologies, Mrs. Cecilia Adenusi, while opening one of the sessions with her moving presentation, My Fear to Freedom Story, shared her personal journey of overcoming obstacles in business and life, offering hope and encouragement to women facing their own battles.
Representing the Nigeria Women in IT (NIWIIT), the Oyo State Coordinator, Princess Samatu Barakat Adejoke (FNCS) delivered an insightful talk on Digital Confidence: AI Tools Every Woman Needs. Her session highlighted how Artificial Intelligence is revolutionising work and business, and how women can leverage these tools to boost efficiency, visibility, and impact.
In a dynamic and interactive segment, Mr. Niyi Omikunle, Founder & CEO of Studio9dots, challenged participants with Unleashing Your Inner Leader. He emphasised the importance of self-leadership, confidence, and decision-making skills in navigating todays fast-changing environment.

Bringing the workshop to a practical close, Yetunde Olasoji, a AWEC Cohort 7 Fellow, community champion and trainer, led a hands-on session on Root Cause Analysis. She equipped participants with problem-solving frameworks to identify the underlying causes of setbacks, paving the way for sustainable solutions and growth.
From heartfelt stories to digital empowerment, leadership insights to analytical problem-solving, the Fear to Freedom workshop left every attendee inspired, informed, and ready to turn fear into a stepping stone for their next big comeback.
