THE Federal Civil Service Commission is set to conduct oral interview for candidates invited for the 2017 interview for promotion to the post of Director, Salary Grade level 17 in the Federal Civil Service.
A statement by the Deputy Director, Press and Public Relations at the Commission, Dr Joel Oruche, during the weekend in Abuja said this was in continuation of the FCSC mandate of conducting promotion examination regularly, for civil servants particularly the Directorate Level officers.
He explained that this was coming after the completion of the first phase of the promotion exercise which saw the candidates sitting for written examination.
As it is the practice, successful candidates who sat for the written promotion examination for promotion to Grade Level 17 and were invited for the Oral Interview would be interviewed by a team of professionals led by the Chairman and Commissioners in the Federal Civil Service Commission.
“It is expected that as Officers seeking to reach the peak of their Career in the Service, these candidates should demonstrate some level of seriousness by adhering strictly to the timetable already released by the Commission and be punctual to the interview as they are requested to be seated at 8am to ensure accreditation process is completed before 9am.” the statement said.
It would be recalled that the process leading to the Oral Interview began with written examination conducted for all Directorate Level candidates due for promotion including Officers on Foreign Service.
