FCMB partners foundation to carry out eye surgeries in Kebbi

First City Monument Bank (FCMB) has collaborated with the Tulsi Chanrai Foundation to conduct eye surgeries in Kebbi State as part of the 14th edition of their community outreach programme titled “Priceless Gift of Sight.”

Speaking at the event, Mr Diran Olojo, Group Head of Corporate Affairs at FCMB, expressed that the “Priceless Gift of Sight” is a Corporate Social Responsibility initiative aimed at partnering with the Tulsi Chanrai Foundation from India to provide eye surgery for individuals suffering from cataracts.

“This is the fourteenth year that FCMB has been sponsoring and organising this programme in Kebbi State since our partnership with the Tulsi Chanrai Foundation began in 2009.”

Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Nasiru Idris, represented by his Deputy, Alhaji Abubakar Umar, commended FCMB for their “Priceless Gift of Sight” initiative, which has positively impacted over 2,000 individuals in the state.

He assured that the state government would continue to welcome organisations and non-governmental bodies willing to contribute to the health and social well-being of the state’s residents.

Mr Chandarkne Deshpande, the Programme Manager of the Tulsi Chanrai Foundation, praised FCMB for consistently partnering with their organisation to provide the “Priceless Gift of Sight” to the people of Kebbi State.
