Federal College of Technology (FCE), Akoka has matriculated 396 students for its 2023/2024 Academic session.
The National Certificate Examination and Professional Diploma In Education take 353 and 43 candidates respectively.
This was just as The College’s Provost, Dr. Wahab Azeez lamented that the number has gone down compared to the Institution’s previous academic years.
Dr. Wahab advised the candidates to exhibit discipline, loyalty, honesty and good character at all times during their stay on campus.
He added that they should avoid pursuing unlawful activities that are tantamount to misplaced priorities and contributing to lowering of standards of education.
According to him, The Management has taken security on campus very seriously, noting that there is security surveillance 24/7 by the College-engaged security and armed men including close circuit Television and cameras to detect any criminally minded person.
“Last year, we recorded a higher number of students. But, this year, the number has gone down.
