Human Rights Lawyer, Mr Femi Falana, SAN, is expected to grace the 16th Annual Lecture of Late Gani Fawehinmi which will hold at the Airport Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos state by 10: 00 am on Wednesday, January 15, 2020.
According to a press statement signed by a former 2nd Vice President of the Nigeria Bar Association and a member of Ikeja branch of the association, Mr Monday O. Ubani, copy of which was made available to Tribune Online on Tuesday in Minna, Niger State capital, the event will be hosted by the foremost branch of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) Ikeja, Lagos.

The release added that the event is expected to be moderated by foremost Human Rights Lawyer, Mr Femi Falana, SAN, while the speakers are equally frontline Constitutional and Human Rights Lawyers, Messrs Olisa Agbakoba, SAN, and Tayo Oyetibo, SAN, respectively.
It stated further that the chairman of the occasion is Hon. Justice Ugochukwu Anthony Ogakwu JCA, erudite jurist of the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, while the theme of this year’s Lecture is: “Federalism and on whether the Nigerian Judiciary is under Serious Threat”.
Monday Ubani said: “The event is open to all the members of the public, including lawyers, professionals of all categories, politicians, religious leaders, traditional rulers, students and members of the press as it promises to be an intellectual feast of our time.”
