With nearly a decade at The Sun newspapers, Ori held various positions, including Assistant Editor in Sports, Education, and Investigation/Features. Prior to his tenure at The Sun, he served as the South East Bureau Chief for Hallmark newspaper.
In 2021, Ori transitioned to the News Echo newspaper, where he took on the role of Managing Editor. His journalistic journey continued as he co-founded Oriental Newspaper with Afam Echi, a weekly publication based in Owerri, Imo State, circulating primarily in the South East region.
Recall that Honourable Emeka Ihedioha recently dumped the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) after more than two decades of membership with thousands of his henchmen and supporters.
He is yet to formally pitch his tent with any political party but indications are that he will eventually join the Labour Party, LP.
Besides consulting with the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, and the party’s lone Governor Alex Otti of Abia State, Ihedioha’s campaign outfit, Rebuild Imo Movement, recently announced it was coalescing into the Labour Party.
