Founded in 2019, our NGO is rooted in the love and legacy of my mother, who proudly raised a family of strong, independent girls. Her unwavering belief in the potential of women and girls inspires our mission to promote gender equality and empower those who often find themselves marginalized. We honour her memory by working tirelessly to create a world where every woman and girl can thrive, breaking barriers and fostering a culture of empowerment.
Our impact stretches across various societies in Africa, including Nigeria, Kenya, Rwanda, and the Benin Republic. Through our initiatives, we have focused on two primary areas: girl child empowerment and women’s economic empowerment.
In our girl child empowerment programs, we provide access to essential hygiene facilities, education, and healthcare services. These initiatives are designed to ensure that young girls have a solid foundation for their future, allowing them to pursue their dreams without the constraints that often hold them back. By addressing these critical aspects, we aim to create an environment where girls can thrive academically and socially, paving the way for a brighter future.
On the other hand, our women’s economic empowerment initiatives equip women with entrepreneurial skills and resources, enabling them to break the cycle of poverty and become change-makers in their communities. We believe that when women are empowered economically, they can contribute significantly to their families and society at large. Our programs provide training, mentorship, and access to funding, helping women establish businesses and gain financial independence.
As the founder, Nart Faith Owolona, I have always been driven by a passion for excellence and a commitment to making a difference. Hailing from Otukpo, Benue State, I hold a first degree in Law, a second degree in International Relations and Diplomacy, and a Master’s degree in Oil and Gas. While I have established a successful career in the oil and gas industry, my true passion lies in empowering women and girls. This passion led me to establish the Julietot Girls Secondary School, dedicated to nurturing and educating the next generation of female leaders.
Beyond my corporate and philanthropic pursuits, I am also a thriving entrepreneur and farmer, managing a diverse portfolio of over seven businesses. My journey has taught me the importance of resilience and determination, and I am committed to making a lasting impact in my community and beyond. I strive to inspire others to pursue excellence and chase their dreams, proving that with hard work and dedication, anything is possible.
Our efforts have not gone unnoticed; we have been honored with various awards, including the Inspiring Youths Africa Magazine Seal Award in 2024, Nobel women award by Catholic Church in recognition and appreciation of our outstanding commitment, invaluable contribution and service to noble group and Catholic Church, and the Global Change Maker Award.
These accolades reflect our commitment to creating a positive change in the lives of women and girls across Africa.
As we look to the future, we remain steadfast in our mission to empower women and girls, fostering a culture of equality and opportunity. Together, we can continue to create a brighter future for all, where every woman and girl has the chance to thrive. Through our collective efforts, we can honour the legacy of love and strength that has inspired us from the very beginning.
